Keeping a United Focus on Youth while BSA Membership Standards Discussed

As reported in the media this week, the Boy Scouts of America’s national executive board will discuss amending the organization’s national membership policies at its next board meeting. You can read the full announcement here.
We understand that you may have opinions as well as concerns regarding the Boy Scouts of America’s membership policies.  However, this is an internal national policy discussion and as a local Boy Scout council chartered to the Boy Scouts of America, our united focus is on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training to more than 5,000 youth in South Texas.
