Over the past year, much has been written in the media and shared by Boy Scouts of America (BSA) regarding the organization’s Membership Standards policy.
South Texas Council wants to hear from you.
South Texas Council, as a chartered Council of BSA will continue to abide by its bylaws and focus on its mission of preparing young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Our council’s leadership is very aware that the Membership Standards policy is a very passionate topic. We value your opinions and want to hear from you. Currently, there is no resolution in place for the more than 2,000 voting members of the National Council to consider. Your input on this issue is important as it relates to the final decision.
