Boy Scout Summer Camp is one of the premier programs operated by the South Texas Council at Camp Karankawa. Located in Mathis, Camp Karankawa is a nationally accredited facility that offers more than forty-five merit badges and several outstanding special programs. These programs include COPE Challenge Course activities, waterfront and swim instruction, the Coastal Kayak High Adventure program, black powder shooting, living history, and much more.
