Scouts BSA Winter Camp at Camp Karankawa – December 27-30, 2023
Camp Karankawa is located next door to Lake Corpus Christi State Park, outside of Mathis, Texas.
Winter Camp Leader’s Guide
Winter Camp provides a unique long-term camping experience with the opportunity to earn a variety of Merit Badges, work on Troop teamwork, develop leadership, participate in fun activities and events and generally have a great outdoor experience. In addition to all of the excitement of a week at Camp, Scouts will enjoy meeting new friends, participate in special programs and experience more Scouting fun.
Arrival Time at camp: Scout troops may begin setting up camp starting at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 27th after they check in at the camp office.
Check-in time at camp office: 10:00am-12:00pm, Wednesday, December 27, 2023.
Departure time: Camp officially ends at 12:00pm Saturday December 30th, but Troops may stay for lunch.

Fees:
Youth Scout: Early Fee $150 by December 13th, Fee $175 after December 13th, Day Fee: $50
Adult Leader: $85, Adult Leader (Teaching Merit Badge): $65
